the fact that we have different constellations in the southern hemisphere proves we are looking at a different part of the sky from a curved surface. you cant get that on a flat plane with a fixed dome.

i took a camera up on a weather balloon – 100k feet – got the footage. horizon was STRAIGHT. i didnt use a fish eye lens. nasa uses fish eye to fake the curve – its that simple.
